Over the last 15yrs we have been asked many questions in relation to how House Cleaning Sheffield operates & what level of service you can expect to receive from us.

We have listed below the most frequently asked questions, things we’re asked on a daily basis.

Yes, unlike many other companies House Cleaning Sheffield believe that you can only clean a home thoroughly & efficiently, if you are very familiar with it & you are working to a good routine. With this is mind, we always aim to allocate you the same cleaning ladies for each visit, this ensures that both you and our staff have continuity.

Of course it is also essential that you know who has access to your home.

All cleaners are supplied excellent references and have been interviewed in their own home by one of the two company directors to ensure you get the best possible service.

Whilst we will always clean your home with the greatest of care I’m sure you will appreciate that accidents can happen. If this should occur, you can be assured that we will repair or replace subject to £100 excess. Equally important, cleaners are insured should they ever hurt themselves.

You may consider giving a set of your key to the cleaner so she may clean while you are out. This is entirely up to you, a great number of our clients choose to do so.  The arrangement is between you and the cleaner; the agency is not responsible for the keys.  Keys are never passed to anyone else and they are not identified to your property in the unlikely they are mislaid. If you are uneasy about giving your keys to your cleaner, may we recommend you fit a key secure on the outside of your property – with a combination lock.  They range in price from around £25 and ensures that the keys never leave your property.  It also makes it easy for temporary cleaning cover.  We can supply details if you require.

We do our very best to accommodate every customers cleaning requests. If you do have a preference for a cleaning day, we try our best to meet it. If however, we do not have a vacancy in your area on your preferred day we will let you know what days are available immediately and promise to move you to your preferred day as soon as possible.

There are no hidden costs. The cleaners are self employed and are engaged by you to perform usual housework. The cleaners are paid, £7 per hour, by you when they have completed their weekly cleaning – the cleaners rely on this money so please try not to forget.

House Cleaning Sheffield‘s monthly management fee is paid by standing order, vetting your cleaner and general cleaner management – for the first 2.5 hours.  Any cleaning hours over 2.5 hours, no further agency fee is payable.

The service is cheaper the more hours cleaning you want!

Agency fees are paid by standing order on a monthly basis.

The cleaners use your cleaning materials and equipment.  We work this way to ensure the cleaning products used in your house are of your choice.  We encourage the use of eco-products.  Your cleaning equipment stays in your home and is thereby far more hygienic than if the cleaner used it for other customers.
